Youth football seasons around the nation are getting underway and that means crazed parents are back in attendance. The screaming, the fights, and the uncomfortable car rides back home are back in full force as September approaches.
One parent in particular decided to take things to the next level by getting involved in the game itself.
Parents Trips Youth Football Player Running for a TD
A viral clip is going around out of Racine, Wisconsin. In it we can all see a grown adult take down a 9-year-old with a move straight out of WWE.
Man intentionally trips a youth football player as he was running into the end zone during a game in Racine, Wisconsin.
Game footage shows the 9-year-old rushing for a touchdown when the adult stuck out his leg.

The child is running for the end zone when the adult comes out of nowhere, clearly kicking his legs out and taking the kid to the ground. Anyone questioning whether it was on purpose can clearly see it was.
A story on the incident noted the parent is now banned from games and was also cited by the police.
This story is a funny one at first glance. But what if the kid had broken his leg? Or suffered any type of injury? The parent would be facing more than a simple citation if that were the case. Luckily for all involved, the kid was alright.
There is simply no explanation for this behavior. Unfortunately, anyone who has played a youth sport or attended a game as an adult knows of parents like this. Perhaps he was trying to be the 12th man, or relive some glory days from his past. Ultimately, he is now banned from a youth football league. That is quite the weekend feat.
The youth season has only begun in 2026 and we already have a crazy clip like this. Whether other parents are inspired by this wild action remains to be seen. At least the kid will have a story to tell the rest of his life.
