Aaron Rodgers is set to begin his final NFL season at the age of 42. The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback is hoping for one final Super Bowl before he hangs up his cleats for good.

That may be a tall task, but Rodgers does not seem too stressed. In fact, he revealed the first big thing he has planned for retirement.

Aaron Rodgers Shares Post-Retirement Plans

Rodgers is an eclectic individual and that is also true in his personal life. He has made it clear he is married, even if the general public does not know the identity of his spouse.

Starting next year, he will have plenty of time to be a family man. That explains his recent reveal that being a dad is the first thing on his post-retirement to-do list.

The quarterback appeared on “Mad Dog Sports Radio” and told Adam Schein of his exciting plans. Schein asked Rodgers what he will be doing at this time next year and Rodgers responded: “I’m hopefully going to be supporting my pregnant wife.”

He went on to say he’s not going to making a lot of public appearances and will enjoy family life away from the spotlight.

This is an admirable goal and definitely something for him to look forward to no matter how the Steelers’ season goes in 2026.

Fans of Rodgers should be happy for him given this news. Meanwhile, Steelers fans are hoping he can keep his mind focused on football in what will be his farewell season.
