The child known as “Baby Gronk” has become an Internet celebrity over the past few years. The ethics of this remain up for debate.
Child stars are often thrown into the spotlight too young, only to deal with issues later in life. However, he may actually live up to his hype.
His real name is Madden San Miguel and based on recent footage, he actually has some “Gronk” in him.
Baby Gronk Dominates in Season Debut
San Miguel is still only in the eighth grade, but it’s clear he is already poised to be a force in high school soon.
His official X account shared a video of him absolutely dominating his peers, claiming to score four touchdowns and have 250 receiving yards in his season debut.

Those are great stats at any level and prove he may already be advanced for his age.
The goal now will be to move past his “Baby Gronk” persona and build a new reputation for himself based on his talent on the field. Of course, it’s not his fault this nickname is attached to him at such a young age. That one falls on those raising him and arguably taking advantage of the situation, which is a conversation for another day.
Actually ending up as an elite recruit should help San Miguel move on from the persona as a whole new audience will be introduced to him. That will help him move away from the category of social media child star that features the likes of himself and “The Rizzler.”
